Did you know that in addition to impurities, water also collects in the fuel filter?

Yes, the filter retains the water contained in the fuel. The most common reason for the presence of water is condensation of water vapor, i.e. water droplets are formed. This occurs more often in the fall and spring, when the fluctuations in the outside temperature are greatest.
For this reason, water settles on the walls of the fuel tank, and the fuel pump sucks it into the system. A new filter will effectively stop this process, so be sure to replace the fuel filter with a new one in the fall!
